Coco Helado - First Taste of this cold drink

We stopped at a roadside stand just outside of la Libertad, Ecuador and purchased a couple of chilled coconuts. This was as suggested by our driver to be the best coco helado around. They were good and cold, but I have never liked coconut my whole life so this was not an honest test. It was good but not as good as a cold cafe latte. The meat was different and my reaction says it all.
